Edmontn has more killings per capita than any other Canadian city of any size. That’s a fairly recent situation and it appears from what I’ve read to be related to drug trafficking. With booming oil patch jobs over the last decade, drugs have followed. Too many dumb young men with way too much money will NEVER be good for a city’s crime rate.. . Nevertheless, Edmonton’s murder rate, while much higher than other cities in Canada, is still minuscule compared to most American cities. And most of the violence is drug related, so it doesn’t really impact the average Joe a lot.

I would like to learn more about the Aikido classes. While in a PTSD clinic we done some classes which I really enjoyed. I would like to continue if possible.

Hi Rod,
Yes, I can do private sessions if necessary but I prefer to teach groups as that gives the student a variety of body types to practice with, not just my frame. And that way other folks take falls for you, too, not just me. Private classes would be $25.00 an hour (minimum charge), and sessions would most likely have to be in the afternoons. Group classes cost $10 per class for walk-in or you can buy a ten class punch card for $70.00. And the first group class is always free. I look forward to hearing back from you. Bob King
